Rock are Chartered Architects, project managers, interior designers and construction consultants, based in Cambridge, UK and working nationwide.
We work with vision, intelligence and practical expertise to bring together people, nature and the built environment. We create buildings and spaces inspired by local context and history, but future-proofed to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world.
We maximise daylight and fresh air, and use natural, low-carbon materials. We believe that life is better when we are connected to the natural environment, and buildings work better when in balance with nature.
We create quality spaces where people can live, work, relax and grow. As an RIBA Chartered Architects practice we guarantee the highest level of service to our clients.
The practice’s combined design and management expertise enables us to seamlessly work across a range of in-house disciplines to deliver quality buildings that don’t cost the earth.
We have our clients at the centre of everything we do. We offer professional and independent advice, making the process of design and construction seamless with a single point of contact throughout the works.
Protecting the Planet
Construction has a large environmental footprint. The industry contributes to climate change, impacts natural resources and affects the planet’s wildlife.
We specialise in passivhaus (passive house) design and low-carbon construction methods. By using local, natural products, considering carbon emissions, regulating temperature, humidity, air quality and light levels, we create efficient, healthy and natural buildings that leave a positive impact.
We don’t just talk about the planet – we act on it. We have also worked on conservation projects in the rainforests of Borneo and on environmental schemes here in the UK and believe every project is an opportunity to make the world a better place.
